Terms of use
Version 2 · 21 October 2026
FastHaul is a free tool that saves media from links you give it, makes files smaller on your device, and keeps them in a Library. By using it, you agree to these terms.
1. What you may save
Save only what you have the right to keep: your own uploads, works under a licence that allows it (such as Creative Commons), works in the public domain, or works whose owner allows it.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for what you download and how you use it. Copyright law and each site's own terms apply to you. Many sites do not allow downloading, so check before you save.
3. What FastHaul will not do
FastHaul does not get around DRM or any other copy protection, so services like Netflix, Disney+, Spotify and Shahid are not supported. It does not search for or offer copyrighted works, and it never uploads or shares anything for you.
4. Not linked to any site
FastHaul is not made, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook or any other site it works with. Their names belong to their owners and appear only to show where a link comes from.
5. Your privacy
FastHaul has no ads, no accounts and no tracking. Your Library, settings and history stay on this device. The app goes online only to download what you ask for, to update its download engine and to check for updates. The details are on the Privacy page.
6. No warranty
FastHaul is provided as it is, without any warranty. Sites change often, so downloading from a site can stop working at any time. As far as the law allows, the creator is not liable for any loss or damage from using it.
7. Open-source parts
FastHaul uses open-source parts, such as yt-dlp and FFmpeg, under their own licences. They are all listed, with their licences, on the Open-source parts page.
8. Changes
FastHaul checks for updates regularly; some must be installed before it can be used again. If these terms change, FastHaul shows them again before your next download.
